Enbio Signs €500000 Contract
Enbio, the Irish surface technology company, today announced that it has secured a €500,000 contract with the European Space Agency (ESA).
The contract will enable Enbio to optimise a proprietary surface treatment for use as a ‘sunscreen’ to better protect satellites as they travel in space. The contract will also enable Enbio to establish its first manufacturing facility at its headquarters at NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs, at University College Dublin. Hugh O’Regan dies
Businessman Hugh O’Regan, the hotelier and publican who established The Thomas Read Group, died unexpectedly.
The group owned a large number of Dublin’s most profile pubs, including The Bailey, Pravda, Searson’s and Ron Black’s, as well as the Morrison Hotel. O’Regan started the chain when he bought is first pub in Dublin in 1988, before building it up into Ireland’s biggest pub chain. [Read more…]
